Research Formatting Guidelines

Submission Requirements
Research papers must be submitted electronically in either MS-WORD or LaTeX format. In the case of LaTeX, figures should be submitted in EPS or PDF format. The research paper should not exceed 30 A4-sized pages, including references, sources, and appendices. Submissions must adhere to the principles of scientific research methodology, maintaining linguistic accuracy and clarity of expression. It is important to note that submitted papers, whether published or not, will not be returned.

First Page of the Article
The first page of the article must include the following:

  • Title: Written in font size 14, bold.
  • Authors' Names: Listed directly under the title, with academic affiliations for each author and at least one email address provided.
  • Abstract: A short paragraph not exceeding 200 words in both English and Arabic, summarizing the research's objective and main findings.
  • Keywords: A list of 3-6 keywords.

Main Text
The research should be divided into sections, preferably beginning with "Introduction" and ending with "Conclusions."

  • Main sections should be numbered using Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.). Subsections should be numbered as 2.1, 2.2, etc.

Text Formatting

  • Font: For English text, use "Times New Roman," size 12 for the main body and size 10 for footnotes.
  • Spacing: Single spacing between lines.
  • Margins: Page margins should be 3 cm from the top and 2 cm for the remaining sides (right, left, and bottom).
  • Headings: Both main and subheadings should use the same font as the body text but in bold.
  • Tables and Figures: Use the same font as footnotes. Table captions should be placed above the tables, and figure captions below the figures. Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially using Arabic numerals (1, 2, ...).

Mathematical Equations
Equations should be written clearly, each on a separate line, and away from the text. All equations must be sequentially numbered using Arabic numerals, with the number placed in parentheses near the right margin. Alternatively, equations can be numbered sequentially within each section, prefixed by the section number, e.g., (3.14) for Equation 14 in Section 3.

Acknowledgments
Sources of research funding must be acknowledged in the "Acknowledgments" section.

References
Authors must adhere strictly to the IEEE citation style, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the references section. Below are the formatting guidelines for different types of references:

In-Text Citation

References should be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets, e.g., [1], [1, 2], or [1]–[3], in the order of their appearance.

References Section

The references section should list all sources cited in the text in numerical order, corresponding to their order of appearance. Use the following formats:

[Ref Number] Author(s),  Journal Name {Italic} vol{bold}. Volume, pp. Pages, (Year).
Example:
[2] L. R. Johnson and K. T. Lee,  Phys. Rev. Lett. 35, 125–135, (2021).
